how to recognize animal abuse/cruelty
- Severe wounds or sores.
- Thin deteriorating skin, starving animals with bones protruding or breaking.
- Animals who are left alone/neglected without proper food and water.
- Chained up or locked away.
- Animals left out during harsh weather conditions.
- Physically abusing an animal (kicking, hitting, etc.).
- Animals who cower away/hide or get very uncomfortable when owner approaches/act aggressively.
- Neglected living environment (unclean tank/foggy, living in fecies or urine).
- Any infections that have long gone untreated.
- Chronic diarrhea or vomiting.
- Swelling, tumours or abscesses left untreated.
